WOOHOO!!! Just came back from Seremban! What an awesome day it was to be with my fellow Librarians... We went to the one and only Yakult factory in Malaysia, Rembau Crystal(a place where they make this totally AWESOME crystal-glass sculptures), Empayar Seremban Siew Pow(a place where they made meat buns that knock the lights out of you with its glorious taste!) and the Yew Heng Leong factory(it's a rice factory).
Before leaving with the Librarians, managed to had a little chat with HER, if only my mum and sis had readied themselves a little earlier I would had a little more time... *Sigh* Anyways, after the Assembly, went to gather the 'kiddies'(younger Librarians) together for briefing, you know, the usuals-stick together, don't get lost, do not break anyhing, bla bla bla. If the briefer was me I'd say stuff like-HAVE FUN! But do not over do it...
After that-THE TRIP BEGINS! Got seated in front of 4 seniors(A year older than me)-Choo Sulin, Suganisha, Shu-Yi and Melissa Li Ginn, my friends and Sulin's sis-Meilin(same age with me)... They were like, really nice people to hangout with! Anyways, throughout the one hour ride from my school to Seremban, crapped a lot so there isn't much to type about... Anyways, upon arriving at the Yakult factory, we were greeted by this fine fellow who can't really pronounce his english. I mean, HELLO?! You work in an interational Yakult branch and you can't even pronounce?! Anyways, at least he showed us around the factory. It was so CLEAN! Must be the only factory I've been to that is that clean! IT'S completely SPOTLESS(except the workers)! By the way, bought some home after finding out the Yakult drinks can be un-refrigerated for 2 days...
Moving on, we traveled to Rembuan Crystals, a place in Seremban where they made these awesome crystal sculptures! They had this demonstration on how to make multi-coloured glass sculptures, it was hot(literally)! Then we went to their gallery to check out their creations, bought a Glass Heart for HER and a Glass Swan for me mom... Hope they like it.
Around 1pm we finally get to had LUNCH! We went to this restaurant which serve some huge helpings of food for us! The food was DIE-LICIOUS!!! But the funny part was that we kept taking pics of the food that they served us. After I had my fill, Tjun Git(another senior) and Sulin was like, egging me to eat more and Tjun Git kept singing Weird Al's 'Eat It' and Sulin was in 'Mommy' mode as she kept telling me to eat... If I put on as much as 0.1kg, they're DEAD!!!
After our fill, of to the 'Empayar Seremban Siew Pow', a place where a lot of food was made-meat buns, tarts, crackers... I was like, 'what the fook, we had lunch and now this?!', they had a shrimp farm there where they breed their own shrimps for cracker making, oh, and thay breed Telapias(a kind of fish, tasted yummy!) too. Here's the nice part, as I was leaning over one of the Telapia tanks, my RAY-BAN shades fell into it! I was like-NNNOOOOOO!!!! And dived my hand into the tank to salvage my shades! Luckily though Telapias do not bite or I will be known as Eej-One-Arm... Oh, bought 8 pieces of Char-Siew-Buns and Durian Tarts(seriously, I'm not joking) for the family.
Then it's more crapping and fooling about on the bus as we continued to our last stop, the Yew Heng Leong factory, the 'Sunflower' rice brand factory, had a brief knowledge about how it was founded and how rice is de-husk, polished, sorted and stuff like that. That had this HUGE warehouse(think air hangers) where they stored all their rice, we couldn't take any pics there due to company policies... T.T but it was AWESOME! We played about with some of the rice on display and even got to sample some of it too! The rice tasted completly diffrent than your average rice!
After that, the saddest part of the day... THE TRIP ENDED!!! Sigh, wish it could last a bit longer... We made use of the time on the bus to have as much fun as possible before reaching school... Laughing, chatting, annoying each other... Sigh
Thats about it of my day... It was awesome, pity i didn't spend more time with her...
By the way, as I said before, PLEASE DON'T FLAME ME AFTER READING THIS!!!
